Cool Season
January
Pleasantly cool with low humidity (24-30C). The driest, most comfortable month. Light northeast breezes. Perfect weather for outdoor activity and recovery.

Water Element
The Kidney system governs your foundational energy (Jing), bones, and willpower. In cooler months it works harder to maintain core warmth. This is the ideal time to deeply nourish and restore Kidney Qi after the draining monsoon season.

Foods to Avoid
Excessive raw salads
Cold foods weaken Spleen Yang during cooler weather
Iced drinks

Overly spicy food
Can scatter the Qi you're trying to store
Daily Practices
Lifestyle Recommendations
