How much does a session cost?
Treatment pricing varies based on the type and duration of your session. Contact us directly for current rates. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most patients are surprised by how little they feel. Acupuncture needles are about the thickness of a human hair, nothing like the needles used for injections. You may feel a brief, light sensation when the needle is placed, followed by a dull warmth or tingling. Many patients fall asleep during treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition. A recent flare up may resolve in one to three sessions. Chronic pain or long term sleep issues typically need six to twelve sessions. Claire will give you an honest estimate during your first visit.
What should I do before my first appointment?
Eat a light meal an hour or two beforehand. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid caffeine and alcohol before your session. Arrive a few minutes early so we can start your consultation without feeling rushed.
Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?
Yes, with modifications. Certain acupuncture points are avoided during pregnancy. Always inform Claire if you are or might be pregnant so she can adjust your treatment plan accordingly.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly online or walk in during our opening hours (10am to 7pm daily, closed Wednesday).
